Legal Experience

Ms. Erum Choudhry joined our office in January 2009. Ms. Choudhry has several years of experience in the fields of Bankruptcy chapter 7, 13 and 11. In addition, she has a wide variety of immigration experience which includes immigrant and non immigrant visas, e.g., H, L, TN, EB1/EB2, extraordinary/exceptional ability visas, treaty/investor visa, permanent residency (green cards), naturalization, asylum, etc. Being an immigrant herself, Ms. Choudhry has a deep understanding of both the legal process and personal issues involved with immigrating to the US and works both on a professional and personal level with our clientele.

Ms. Choudhry has translated immigration laws from English to Urdu and vice versa to educate immigrants regarding their rights. Ms Choudhry was a member of PAWLA (Pakistan Women Lawyers' Association) and helped indigent women on humanitarian grounds. Besides legal vision, Ms. Choudhry also has an artistic hand (artist/painter/sculptor). Her artwork has been exhibited worldwide as well as in our local galleries.
